By Choice offers a warranty of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years to the original purchaser from an authorized By Choice retailer. We will either repair or replace the watch entirely.

We don’t cover normal wear and tear of batteries, besides the ones that come with the watch which has a 2 year warranty, glass, watch case, strap, lock, loss or theft. You will void your warranty if you open your case back, push the buttons or watch underwater, or expose your watch to moisture. By Choice will not accept a warranty claim or repair request if a watch has evidence of excessive wear or misuse.

We only use Japanese Miyota watch movements and original batteries in our watches. A plastic pin is added around the crown of the watch to prevent the battery from being used, until the customer removes the pin

Please include your order number, photos of the suspected errors and a brief description of the claim.

The By Choice
warranty does not cover

  • Battery end of life, case, crystal, finishes and plating.
  • Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents, loss, theft, or wear and tear
  • Discoloration of light colored watches and/or components.
  • For wood watches: Exposure to water and moisture in general. Wood Watches generally performs poorly, when exposed to water.
  • Damaged strap: wear & tear and breakage from changing link on strap with added tool.

The By Choice
Warranty Cover

  • Hands falling off.
  • Movement failure.
  • Battery failure during the first 24 months.
  • Crown falling off
  • Steel and metal watches: Condensation or flooding when crown is fully pushed in tool.

The warranty will not be accepted by By Choice if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service or other factors not due to defects in materials or craftsmanship.
